Remember when you had a clean workshop? Customize your dust collection setup and maximize the life of your dust collector or wet/dry vacuum with the WEN Cyclone-Style Separator Lid. This handy tool installs between your power tools and your dust collector or wet/dry vacuum of choice. Designed to convert your single-stage dust collector to a two-stage version, it works with standard metal 30-gallon trash cans (not included, maximum lip diameter of 20-3/4 inches). Simply attach the included 90-degree elbow to the inside of the inlet port, attach the lid to the trash can, and connect standard 4-inch dust hoses (not included) to the ports. Then start making some sawdust, and watch as the separator lid creates a cyclone in your trash can, forcing large chips and shavings to the bottom of the trash can while allowing small particles to pass to your dust collector. This helps extend the life of your dust collector’s filter and prevents it from getting clogged as easily. When the trash can is full, simply pop off the lid and dispose of the wood chips and shavings you’ve collected. The foam gasket improves suction efficiency and prevents airflow loss, and the sturdy ABS construction helps the lid resist the wear and tear of heavy-duty dust collection. Remember when you spent more time on your project than on cleaning out your dust collector? Remember WEN.
